PLGA Acid Capped (PLGA-COOH, 75:25) MW 30K is ultra-high-molecular-weight carboxyl-terminated poly(D,L-lactide-co-glycolide) random copolymer with a 75:25 lactide-to-glycolide molar ratio. Featuring extended polymer chains compared with 20K and lower molecular weight grades, this PLGA delivers outstanding tensile strength, superior film-forming capacity and excellent electrospinnability, paired with the slowest degradation profile within this 75:25 acid-capped PLGA series. Active terminal carboxylic acid groups support stable EDC/NHS bioconjugation with amine-containing peptides, antibodies and targeting ligands to construct functionalized biomaterial carriers. Its dense, highly hydrophobic polymer matrix significantly suppresses initial burst release and enables sustained, predictable drug delivery over multiple months. It is the preferred material for fabricating high-stability electrospun nanofiber scaffolds, rigid implantable depots, long-cycle microspheres and biodegradable barrier membranes for regenerative medicine research.
