PLGA Acid Capped (PLGA-COOH, 75:25), MW 2K is low molecular weight carboxyl-terminated poly(D,L-lactide-co-glycolide) random copolymer with lactide:glycolide molar ratio 75:25. The polymer features a reactive terminal carboxylic acid group for EDC/NHS-mediated bioconjugation with amines, peptides, proteins and targeting ligands. It exhibits good biocompatibility and biodegradability, degrading into lactic acid and glycolic acid in vivo. Suitable for synthesizing PLGA block copolymers, fabricating nanoparticles, micelles and short-term controlled release carriers for biomedical research. Supplied as white amorphous powder, soluble in organic solvents including DCM, THF, chloroform and acetone; store sealed at -20°C under dry and dark conditions.
