PLGA Acid Capped (PLGA-COOH, 75:25) MW 15K is a high-molecular-weight carboxyl-terminated poly(D,L-lactide-co-glycolide) copolymer with a 75:25 lactide-to-glycolide molar ratio. Featuring extended polymer chain length compared to 10K and lower grades, this PLGA delivers superior mechanical rigidity, excellent film-forming performance, and ultra-slow, predictable biodegradation kinetics. The retained reactive terminal carboxylic acid groups support reliable EDC/NHS bioconjugation for immobilizing targeting molecules, antibodies, and bioactive proteins, enabling highly stable functionalized drug carriers. Its enhanced hydrophobicity and dense polymer matrix effectively suppress initial burst release and sustain uniform drug delivery over several months. Ideal for fabricating high-strength PLGA microspheres, long-term implantable depots, electrospun tissue engineering scaffolds, and durable sustained-release formulations.
