PLGA Acid Capped (PLGA-COOH, 75:25), MW 5K is carboxyl-terminated poly(D,L-lactide-co-glycolide) random copolymer with lactide:glycolide molar ratio 75:25. The reactive terminal carboxylic acid group enables EDC/NHS-mediated bioconjugation with amines, peptides, proteins and targeting ligands. It features excellent biocompatibility and biodegradability, hydrolyzing into lactic acid and glycolic acid in vivo. Suitable for synthesizing PLGA block copolymers, preparing nanoparticles, micelles and medium-term controlled release carriers for biomedical research. Supplied as white amorphous powder, soluble in DCM, THF, chloroform and acetone; store sealed at -20°C under dry and dark conditions.
