BDP 564/570 is a fluorophore, a lipophilic dye with orange emission. This dye is hydrophobic and can be used to label amine-containing biomolecules, including amine-modified oligonucleotides. Free carboxylic acids can be used as N-terminal monomers for peptide synthesis. NHS esters with preactivated carboxyl groups are also available.
