PLGA Acid Capped (PLGA-COOH, 85:15), MW 10K is a medium molecular weight, carboxyl-terminated poly(D,L-lactide-co-glycolide) random copolymer with a fixed lactide-glycolide molar ratio of 85:15. This functionalized biodegradable polymer features highly active terminal carboxylic acid groups, enabling stable EDC/NHS crosslinking and efficient bioconjugation with various amine-containing biomolecules, including functional peptides, bioactive proteins, and targeted modification ligands. It features intact and stable molecular chain structures with steady hydrolytic degradation properties, achieving consistent and long-lasting sustained drug release effects for biomedical formulations. With excellent inherent biocompatibility and biological safety, the polymer fully degrades into non-toxic lactic acid and glycolic acid within biological systems.
