PLGA Acid Capped (PLGA-COOH, 85:15), MW 5K is a medium-low molecular weight, carboxyl-terminated poly(D,L-lactide-co-glycolide) random copolymer formulated with a lactide and glycolide molar ratio of 85:15. The polymer is functionalized with active terminal carboxylic acid groups, supporting reliable and efficient EDC/NHS crosslinking and bioconjugation with amine-based biomolecules including peptides, proteins, and targeted ligands. It possesses stable molecular chain structure with moderate hydrolytic degradation performance, delivering uniform and controllable medium-term drug release effects. Boasting superior biocompatibility and biosafety, the polymer can be completely degraded into non-toxic lactic acid and glycolic acid in living organisms. It is provided as white amorphous powder, with excellent solubility in conventional organic solvents such as DCM, chloroform, THF and acetone. Sealed storage at -20°C in a dry and dark environment is required to maintain polymer structural stability and performance consistency.
