APDye™ 594 Azide C3 (an analogue of Alexa Fluor® 594 Azide) is water-soluble red-fluorescent dye with high fluorescence quantum yield and high photostability.
APDye™ 594 Azide C3 is a bright, red-fluorescent azide-activated probe that reacts with terminal alkynes via a copper-catalyzed click reaction (CuAAC). It can also react with strained cyclooctyne via a copper-free click chemistry reaction to form a stable triazole without using Cu-catalyst or elevated temperatures.
APDye™ 594 azide C3 is pH-insensitive from pH 4 to pH 10. This red-fluorescent dye has absorption and emission max 586 and 613 nm, respectively. APDye™ 594 dye can conjugate to a variety of antibodies, peptides, proteins, tracers, and amplification substrates. APDye™ 594 probes are commonly used for bioconjugation tasks and labeling of cells in flow cytometry, fluorescent microscopy, and other applications.
