8-Arm PLGA-COOH, MW 10K is an eight-arm star-shaped biodegradable polyester with carboxylic acid groups at each arm terminus. Built on a central polyol core, the multi-arm structure offers higher terminal functional group density compared with linear PLGA. The polymer exhibits excellent biocompatibility and controllable degradation rates. Terminal carboxyl groups can undergo amide coupling reactions for conjugating biomolecules, peptides and small-molecule drugs. It is widely used for nanoparticle preparation, covalent drug modification, hydrogel crosslinking and tissue engineering research.
