4-arm-PLGA, MW 10K is a star-shaped biodegradable polyester with four PLGA chains connected to a central pentaerythritol core and hydroxyl groups at each arm terminus. Compared with linear PLGA, the four-arm structure provides higher terminal group density and better crosslinking performance. It features excellent biocompatibility and adjustable degradation rate, and can be further functionalized to synthesize various end-modified PLGA derivatives. Widely applied in nanoparticle preparation, controlled drug release, injectable hydrogels, tissue engineering scaffolds and biomedical material research.
