IR 750 Acid (IRDye® 750 Acid Analog) – Near-Infrared Fluorescent Dye
IR 750 acid is a bright, water-soluble near-infrared (NIR) fluorescent dye. Its spectral properties are similar to IRDye® 750 and other 750 nm fluorescent dyes.
Researchers can use IR 750 for flow cytometry, fluorescence microscopy, bioimaging, and biomolecule labeling. The dye works well with 633 nm laser lines and compatible dye-pumped lasers.
Key Features
- Bright near-infrared fluorescence
- Good water solubility
- Low background from biological autofluorescence
- Stable fluorescence across a broad pH range
- Minimal self-quenching at useful labeling levels
- Suitable for flow cytometry and fluorescence imaging
- Spectrally similar to IRDye® 750 and other 750 nm dyes
Near-infrared dyes offer an important benefit for biological research. Biological samples usually show less autofluorescence at longer wavelengths. This feature can improve the signal-to-background ratio and increase detection sensitivity.
IR 750 can produce bright fluorescent conjugates with minimal self-quenching. This property supports sensitive detection of labeled proteins and other biomolecules.
IR 750 fluorescence also remains stable across a wide pH range. Researchers can therefore obtain consistent signals during imaging and flow cytometry experiments.
IR 750 acid is a useful 750 nm near-infrared fluorescent dye for biological labeling, imaging, and fluorescence detection.
