YO-TAP-1, also known as Oxazole Yellow Monomer or YO-PRO®-1, is a green fluorescent dye widely used for nucleic acid staining. Specifically, it binds to double-stranded DNA (dsDNA) and, upon binding, becomes highly fluorescent.
