TODi-1 (Thiazole Orange Homodimer, TOTO®-1, CAS 143413-84-7)
TODi-1, also known as Thiazole Orange Homodimer or TOTO®-1, is a green fluorescent dye. Specifically, it binds strongly to double-stranded DNA (dsDNA) and RNA (dsRNA). Upon binding, it becomes highly fluorescent, which makes it particularly ideal for sensitive nucleic acid detection.
