Sulfo-SMCC (CAS: 92921-24-9) is a water-soluble, heterobifunctional crosslinker used in bioconjugation. It has two reactive groups: a sulfo-NHS ester that targets primary amines and a maleimide group that reacts with thiols, enabling stable covalent bonding in aqueous environments.
