Azido-PEG8-alcohol linker contains an azide group and a terminal hydroxyl group. The PEG spacer increases the aqueous solubility of the resulting compound. The azide group readily react with alkyne, BCN, DBCO through Click Chemistry to yield a stable triazole linkage. The hydroxyl group can be further derivatized to or replaced by other reactive functional groups.
