Carboxyrhodamine 110-peg3-azide is a green fluorescent marker. It is a derivative of 5-carboxyrhodamine 110, which reduces the steric hindrance caused by the dye to be labeled. It contains an azide group that enables Click Chemistry. The azide group on the molecule enables click chemistry via Cu(I)-catalyzed alkyne-azide cycloaddition. Its maximum excitation and emission wavelengths are 501 and 523 nm, respectively. The conjugates have higher solubility than the parent dyes and are stable under both acidic and basic conditions.
