AMCA (7-amino-4-methyl-3-coumarinacetic acid) is a blue fluorescent dye that is a non - sulfonated version of the Alexa Fluor® 350 dye. It is often used as a contrasting probe for double - and triple - labeling in immunofluorescence microscopy, arrays, and in situ hybridization. The desirable properties of AMCA dyes include a relatively large Stoke’s shift and resistance to photobleaching.
This reagent is supplied as Boc protected derivative to ensure compatibility with Fmoc solid phase peptide synthesis. Medium length, hydrophobic spacer arm (total length is 22.4 angstroms) provides an adequate separation between the dye and peptide. Spacers of different lengths are available upon request.
AxisPharm offers 5000+ PEG Linkers with high purity. Different kinds of PEG Reagents may be available by custom synthesis.
