AMCA LC Acid

AMCA LC Acid (7-amino-4-methyl-3-coumarinacetic acid) is a blue fluorescent dye used in immunofluorescence, arrays, and in situ hybridization. It provides a large Stokes shift and resists photobleaching, making it ideal for contrast in double- and triple-labeling.

Unlike Alexa Fluor® 350, AMCA is non-sulfonated and has a hydrophobic spacer arm (22.4 Å) that enhances dye separation from peptides, boosting labeling efficiency. It is supplied as a Boc-protected derivative, compatible with Fmoc solid-phase peptide synthesis. Custom spacer lengths are available to fit specific bioconjugation needs.
