DSPE-PEG-NH2

DSPE-PEG-NH2 (DSPE-PEG-Amine) is a linear heterobifunctional PEGylation reagent. The ends contain DSPE phospholipids and amines, which can be used to prepare grafted or PEGylated liposomes or micelles, while also providing amine groups for bioconjugation. DSPE is hydrophilic and hydrophobic and can be used for drug delivery, gene transfection, and biomolecule modification. Because of its properties that increase drug solubility, prolong circulatory half-life and reduce nonspecific protein binding or cell adhesion, it is often used for targeted drug delivery.
