APDye™ 532 DBCO (Alexa Fluor® 532 DBCO analog) is an azide-reactive probe that can be used for imaging azide-tagged biomolecules via a copper-free click reaction. DBCO moiety reacts with azides to form a stable triazole and does not require a Cu-catalyst or elevated temperatures. In applications where the presence of copper is a concern, APDye™ 532 DBCO is an ideal alternative to copper-requiring fluorescent alkynes.
APDye™ 532 DBCO is ideally suited for the frequency-doubled Nd:YAG laser line. This probe is water-soluble and its fluorescence is pH independent over a wide pH range. The brightness and photostability of APDyes™ 532 are well suited to direct imaging of low-abundance targets.
