Stearic acid-PEG-amine (Stearic acid-PEG-NH2, or C18-PEG-NH2) is an amphiphilic polyethylene glycol surfactant with amino-terminal properties designed for targeted drug delivery micelles or nanoparticles. PEG is attached to a C18 alkyl group (octadecanoic acid) via an amide bond. Amphiphilic properties improve drug solubility, formulation, and bioavailability.
