t-BOC-NH-PEG-SVA (t-Boc-NH-PEG-Succinimidyl Valerate) is a heterobifunctional polyethylene glycol. One end is a tert-butoxycarbonyl amide group, and the other end is a valeryl succinimide, and the succinimide ester reacts with an amino molecule in an aqueous solution to form a stable amide bond. t-Boc can be deprotected using TFA and yield the free amine.
