BDP 493/503 is a non-polar structure and long wavelength absorption and fluorescence, green fluorescent borodipyrrole methylene dye for lipid labeling as well as a tracer for oils and other non-polar lipids. It is used for visualization of cell membranes under the microscope, as well as for staining and tracking of hydrophobic media.
