8-Arm PLGA-Biotin, MW 10K is an eight-arm star-shaped biodegradable polymer functionalized with biotin groups at the termini of each PLGA chain. Supported by a central polyol core, the multi-arm structure provides abundant reactive biotin binding sites compared with linear PLGA. Benefiting from excellent biocompatibility and controllable degradation performance, biotin moieties enable specific binding with streptavidin. This polymer can be fabricated into nanoparticles, microspheres and hydrogel carriers, widely used in targeted drug delivery, biosensing, biolabeling and biomedical material research.
