Fluorescent probes absorb light at a specific wavelength and emit light of a different, typically longer, wavelength. This process is known as fluorescence emission. Fluorescence is safer to use and does not require radiological controls. Because fluorophores do not overlap, several fluorescent molecules can be used simultaneously.

Fluorescent molecules can be attached to a target molecule and act as a marker for analysis with fluorescence microscopy.  Often times, the poor water solubility of many organic fluorescent molecules limits their biological applications.  Polyethylene glycol modified fluorecence dye have improved aqueous solubility and expand the scope of the fluorophore applications.

Conjugating a desired fluorescent probe with a defined PEG length using mono dispersed polyethylene glycol facilitate the optimization process in fluorometric applications.

AxisPharm offers a diversified collection of fluorescent dye probes that incorporate mono dispersed PEG with various functional groups such as azide, alkyne, TCO, tetrazine, etc. We also provide custom synthesis of functionalized fluorescent dye probes at competitive prices.

APDye 488

AFDy 488 is a water-soluble, bright, green-fluorescent dye ideally for the 488 nm laser line. Its fluorescence is pH independent from pH 4 to pH 10. APDye 488 can be conjugated to a variety of antibodies, peptides, proteins, tracers, and amplification substrates for imaging and flow cytometry.

AxisPharm offers alexa fluor 488 conjugates with various functional groups, such APDye-488-NHS, APDye-488-amine, APDye-488-DBCO, APDye-488-BCN, APDye-488-azide, APDye-488-maleimide, etc. We also provide APDye-488 bioconjugation kits.

Rhodamine Dye

Rhodamine dyes are used extensively in biotechnology applications such as fluorescence microscopy, flow cytometry, fluorescence correlation spectroscopy and ELISA. Rhodamine has been a widely used as fluorophore for preparing bioconjugates.

AxisPharm has a large collection of Rhodamine dyes and can custom synthesize rhodamine-conjugates with fast and high quality delivery.

TAMRA Dye

TAMRA dye – Carboxy tetramethyl-rhodamine (TAMRA) has been a widely used fluorophore for preparing bioconjugates. 5-TAMRA has achieved prominence as a dye for oligonucleotide labeling and automated DNA sequencing applications.
