Rhodamine-PEG-Mal is a red fluorescent PEG polymer with maleimide with an absorption maximum at 570 nm and an emission maximum around 595 nm. The additional functionality allows these fluorescent PEG derivatives to be easily combined with other molecules or material surfaces.
