Fluorescein-PEG-Mal (FITC-PEG-Mal) is a linear heterobifunctional PEG reagent with a maleimide group and a fluorescein dye. It has an absorption maximum at 495 nm and an emission around 515~520 nm. The additional functionality allows these fluorescent PEG derivatives to be easily combined with other molecules or material surfaces.
