4arm PEG Vinylsulfone(4arm PEG VS) is a 4arm PEG derivative with multiple reactive groups that bind free thiol groups in aqueous buffers at pH 6.5~8.5 at room temperature. The number of ethylene oxide units in the PEG chain may not be equal for all arms. Pegylation can increase the solubility and stability and reduce immunogenicity of peptides and proteins.
