BDP 576/589 is a borondipyrromethylene dye that is an analogue of BODIPY™ 576/589 dyes. This hydrophobic dye exhibits high quantum yield and long excited state lifetime (~5 nanoseconds). A hydrophobic dye emitting in the orange spectral range with high quantum yield and high molar extinction coefficient. Ideal for experiments measuring fluorescence lifetime and fluorescence polarization.
