pei-b-peg
A block copolymer of branched polyethylenimine (b-pei) and polyethylene glycol (peg). It combines pei’s strong cationic charge for nucleic acid condensation and endosomal escape with peg’s hydrophilicity, stealth effect, and reduced cytotoxicity. Widely used for non-viral gene delivery, drug carriers, and surface modification.
