Norbornene-PEG3 acetic acid is a bifunctional linker containing a norbornene and acid end groups. Norbornene readily reacts with azide and tetrazine and is usefulness for cell labeling with fluorophore and functional molecules. The acid can be used to conjugate with amine-bearing biomolecules such as lysine residue on the proteins and amine modified oligonucleotide and biopolymers. The PEG spacer increase the solubility of the resulting complex in aqueous media.
