Description

BAY-299 CAS:2080306-23-4 A potent and selective inhibitor of the second bromodomain of BRD1 and TAF1. The solubility of BAY-299 in aqueous solution is 10mg/L. The structurally similar BAY-364 (MW 401.4) is inactive against BRD1 (>20uM) and moderately active against TAF1 (3uM), suitable for use as a negative control. BAY-299 has IC50 values of 6-67 and 8-13 nM for BRD1 and TAF1 inhibitors, respectively. BAY-299 shows selectivity for other bromodomains (>30-fold over other members of the BRPF family; BRD9 and ATAD2; >300-fold over BRD4).
