endo-BCN-PEG4 acid linker contains a BCN group and a terminal carboxylic acid. While the BCN group readily react with azide-functionalized biomolecules, the terminal carboxylic acid reacts with amine groups in the presence of coupling reagents such as EDC, DCC, HATU etc, to form a stable amide bond. The PEG spacer increases aqueous solubility of the resulting bioconjugates.
