DusQ 3 NHS Ester is a dark, far-red non-fluorescent DusQ 3 derivative used as an acceptor for the preparation of fluorescent dual-labeled probes for qPCR, sequencing, and other fluorescence quenching system applications. Due to the quenching range characterized by 620-730 nm, DusQ 3 can be used as an acceptor in fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) in conjunction with far-red to near-infrared emitting dyes such as Cyanine5, Cyanine5.5, APDye Fluor 647.
