DREADD Agonist 21 selectively activates hM3Dq (excitatory) and hM4Di (inhibitory) DREADDs, derived from the human muscarinic M3 receptor, without affecting the native receptor. It also binds weakly to histamine H1, serotonin 5-HT2A/5-HT2C, and α1A-adrenergic receptors (Ki values: 6, 66, 170, 280 nM).
