Cy3 azide Dye CAS:1782950-79-1 has absorption and emission spectra nearly identical to Alexa Fluor® 555, CF® 555 dyes, or any other Cyanine3-based fluorescent dye, which can react with terminal alkynes via a copper-catalyzed click reaction (CuAAC). It also reacts with strained cyclooctynes to form stable triazoles via a copper-free “click chemistry” reaction and does not require copper catalysts or high temperatures. This red fluorescent probe is water-soluble and its fluorescence is pH-insensitive in the pH 4 to pH 10 range. Its excitation peak is well suited for 532 nm or 555 nm laser lines.
