Aminooxy-PEG4-propargyl contains a propargyl group and an aminooxy group. While the aminooxy group reacts with an aldehyde or ketone group to form a reversible oxime linkage, the propargyl group readily reacts with azide-derivatized biomolecules via copper catalyzed Click Chemistry. The increasing aqueous solubility derived from the PEG spacer further expand its application in bioconjugations.
