3,4-Dibromo-Mal-PEG2-Boc-Amine linker contains a dibromomaleimide group and a Boc-protected amine group. Dibromomaleimide (DBM) can be used for two site attachments since each bromine can be replaced by thiols to form stable thioether bonds. The free amine group after de-Boc deprotection can be used to conjugate with carboxylic acid bearing biomolecules through an amide bond formation under EDC, DCC or HATU coupling condition.
