Description
Biotin-PEG4-Azide is PEG derivative containing a biotin group and an azide group. The azide group readily reacts with alkyne, DBCO, BCN through Click Chemistry reactions to form a stable triazole linkage. The hydrophilic PEG spacer can increase aqueous solubility of the biotin conjugated molecules. It also can also help minimize steric hindrance and provide extra flexibility with the binding to stravidin and avidin molecules.
