Mal-PEG-Mal, MW 10K (MAL-PEG-MAL) is a linear bifunctional PEGylated crosslinker. It has two maleimide groups, and MAL selectively reacts with free thiols, sulfhydryls or sulfhydryls via Michael addition to form stable carbon-sulfur bonds.
