This reagent can be used to derivatize carboxyl acid bearing biomolecules with TCO moiety to a stable amide bond in the presence of EDC, DCC and other coupling reagents. The TCO labelled biomolecule can conjugate with a tetrazine bearing biomolecule through an ultrafast bioorthogonal ligation process.
