It can attach to monoclonal antibodies (MABs), directing them to cancer cells. Monomethyl Auristatin E(MMAE) acts as a potent mitotic inhibitor by inhibiting tubulin polymerization. Valine-citrulline is a common lysosomal cleavable dipeptide. PAB is a typical self-immolation spacer.
