The Universal CPG type I, 500A is one of universal supports used to immobilize nucleosides for high-throughput synthesizing oligonucleotides.The cleavage from the support is followed by deprotection using anhydrous methylamine gas, ammonium hydroxide/methylamine mixture and other basic reagents. Universal support CPG type I is suitable for relatively aggressive environment treatment. Pore size of 500 Å is recommended for the synthesis of oligonucleotides up to 50 bases.
