PFI 1 CAS:1403764-72-6 is a highly selective BET (bromodomain-containing protein) inhibitor that inhibits BRD4 with IC50 of 0.22 μM and BRD2 with IC50 of 98 nM in cell-free assays. PFI 1 induces apoptosis and G1 cell cycle arrest in a BET inhibitor-sensitive cell line (MV4;11). PFI 1 also downregulated Aurora B expression in MV4;11 cells.
