PC Azide Agarose is a 6% cross-linked agarose resin activated by alkynyl groups via photocleavable linkers. Once the biomolecules are covalently captured on the resin, the beads can be washed at the highest stringency, virtually eliminating any non-specifically bound proteins. Irradiation with a hand-held UV-Vis lamp enables reagent-free release of capture molecules. This product is suitable for batch or column purification (low pressure).
