Cyanine5 minimal dye for protein labeling, an analog of Cy5® minimal dye.
This reagent is specially quantified for the use in 2D proteomics. Each package contains specified amount of NHS ester with quantity variation within 10%.
N-methyl-N’-methyl-O-(m-PEG4)-O’-(acid-PEG5)-Cy5 is a type of fluorescent dye conjugate that can be used for a variety of applications. It consists of two polyethylene glycol (PEG) molecules attached to a Cy5 fluorophore, with the PEGs being either m-PEG4 (methylated PEG of four ethylene oxide units) or acid-PEG5 (acidified PEG of five ethylene oxide units). The N-methyl-N’-methyl groups on the two PEGs add further stability to the dye conjugate. This conjugate is used in fluorescence imaging, flow cytometry, in vitro diagnostics, and other applications.
