N–Boc–N’-(PEG1–t–butyl ester)-L–Lysine–NHS ester is a bifunctional, water–soluble linker molecule used to attach biomolecules, such as proteins and peptides, to surfaces. The molecule contains two reactive groups, an NHS ester and a t–butyl ester, which can be used to attach molecules to surfaces or link two molecules together. The molecule also contains a polyethylene glycol (PEG) spacer group, which helps to increase the solubility of the molecule in aqueous solutions.
