N–Boc–N’-(PEG1–t–butyl ester)-L–Lysine–amido–Mal is a peptide–based linker molecule used in bioconjugation and drug delivery applications. This linker molecule is composed of a lysine amino acid, a t–butyl ester and a polyethylene glycol (PEG) group, all covalently attached to a Boc–protected amide group. This linker molecule is used to attach a drug or other molecule of interest to a larger protein or other biomolecule, such as an antibody, for the purpose of improving its pharmacokinetic properties and/or targeting specificity.
AxisPharm offers 5000+ PEG Linkers with high purity. Different kinds of PEG Reagents may be available by custom synthesis.
