Hydrazide-PEG-Hydrazide(HZ-PEG-HZ), MW 2K is a PEG derivative whose molecular segment is functionalized with hydrazide. Can be used to modify proteins, peptides, and other materials with carboxyl (-COOH) or other amine-reactive chemical groups. Proteins can be modified through carboxyl or other amine-reactive chemical groups, and can also react rapidly with carbohydrate residues. It also inhibits non-specific binding of charged molecules to the modified surface.
