DOTA-PEG4-Azide
Overview:
DOTA-PEG4-Azide is a bifunctional linker designed for bioconjugation and radiolabeling. It combines DOTA (dodecane tetraacetic acid, or tetraxetan), a strong chelator for lanthanide ions, with a hydrophilic PEG4 linker and an azide group. The PEG4 linker boosts solubility and separates the DOTA from the target molecule, making it easier to work with. The azide group enables fast and efficient click chemistry with alkyne-containing biomolecules.
Applications:
- Radiolabeling: Easily labels radiotherapeutic agents or imaging probes for PET, SPECT, and CT scans.
- Bioconjugation: Links biomolecules for drug delivery or therapeutic research using click chemistry.
- Imaging: Chelated metals like gadolinium enhance MRI contrast, while radiometals aid in tumor detection.
Benefits:
- Chelates lanthanide ions for radiotherapy and imaging.
- PEG4 linker increases solubility and flexibility for conjugation.
- Azide group allows quick conjugation via click chemistry.
Storage:
Store at -20°C, protected from light and moisture.
